ME3 Head Coordinator Dr. Chazarenc is a qualified engineer with a PhD in environmental engineering from University of Savoy (2003, France). He is the Head Coordinator of the ME3 Program. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Energy and Environmental Engineering at Ecole de Mines de Nantes. Dr. Chazarenc is also conducting research and supervising graduate students. His research interests include: Extensive wastewater treatment systems to control surface water pollution and the development of phosphorus filters through valorisation of industrials by-products.

UPM Academic Coordinator Miguel Palacios holds a Bsc and MSc in Industrial Engineering from UPM as well as a MSc in Electronics from Ecole Centrale Paris, an MBA from MIT, and a PHD in Business Administration from UPM. He is currently the Academic Coordinator of the ME3 program at UPM in Madrid, Spain. He also serves as a Project Leader and Phd Supervisor. He areas of interest include Entrepreneurship, Early Stage Funding, and Marketing.

UPM Coordinator Felipe Ruiz holds a BSc and MSc in Industrial Engneering from UPM, as well as an MBA from MIT and a Phd in Business Administration from the Universite de Lovaine. In addition to coordinating ME3, he is currently a Full Professor at UPM and also serves as a Project Leader and Phd Supervisor. His areas of interest include: Financial Markets, Project Financing and Real Options, Financial Management, and Price Estimation and Optimization.

KTH Coordinator Dr. Martin holds a Phd in Mechanical from the University of Florida (1997). He is currently an Associate Professor (Docent) at the Deptartment of Energy Technology at KTH in Stockholm, Sweden. In addition, he is the Program Director for both the Sustainable Energy Engineering Msc Program and the Nordic Master Program in Innovative and Sustainable Energy Engineering. Dr. Martin also serves as a Project Leader and Phd supervisor. His areas of interest include: Membrane distillation for water purification and desalination, municipal waste incineration, Polygeneration, and concentrating solar power.

QUB Coordinator Dr. Walker holds BEng and PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Royal Academy of Engineering. He is also a Senior Reseach Fellow. He is currently a Senior Lecturer in Chemical Engineering at Queen's University Belfast in Northern Ireland. His interests include: modelling of adsorption systems for water treatment processes and the development of innovative molecular materials.

BME Coordinator Dr. GRÓF is an Associate Professor and Head of The Department of Energy Engineering at Budapest University of Technology and Economics. His scientific and research interests include:
analysis and modeling energy systems,
experimental research in thermal engineering,
numerical modeling of heat and mass transfer processes,
distributed/small scale CHP,
solar energy technologies,
and non-Fourier heat conduction.

BME Academic Coordinator Dr. Lezsovits is an Assistant Professor in The Department of Energy Engineering at Budapest University of Technology and Economics. His research interests include: firing technique of biomass and fuels having low heating value, research the system realization of biogas generation and biomass gasification, investigation of heat transfer in boilers and HRSG, equipment design, research and application of low capacity steam turbines, application of gas-turbines for biomass based pyrolysis gas, investigation of industrial and communal energy supply systems and making feasibility studies for improvements. |
